Rouen Cathedral façade and Tour d’Albane (morning effect) 1894, Claude Monet

Went to the Monet and the Impressionists show at Te Papa today. I know most of these works from when I lived in Boston, but that was ten years ago.

I was happy to see Rouen Cathedral, but ecstatic to see Racehorses at Longchamp, my favourite Edgar Degas painting. It was like seeing old friends again.
